April 15, 1938 – July 3, 2024 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Farmer on July 3, 2024. Loving mother of Lesley, Terri and Rick, Mike and Roxanne, Peggy, Jo and Frank. Grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  Sister of Flora, Bob and Rusty. Best friend of Bonnie White.  Predeceased by parents Henry and Rose LaForme, children Randy, Ellen, a baby boy and former husband and dear friend of Walter “Les” Farmer. Mary touched the hearts of many people young and old. The family will honour her life with a visitation at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line, Ohsweken on Monday from 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at New Credit Community Hall, 659 New Credit Rd., Hagersville on Tuesday July 9, 2024 at 3pm. January 11, 1968 – July 2, 2024 After a short illness and entering the embrace of Ryan in Heaven, Mike, peacefully passed away at Stedman Community Hospice on July 2, 2024. He is survived by Lisa, his daughter Megan, and remembered by his late son Ryan (2021). Mike was a brother to Sharon (Jay), Maryann (Dan), and was preceded in death by his parents, Casey and Gerry. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews and many fur babies. Visitation will be held at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Wednesday July 10th from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by a service at 1 pm. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, Hamilton in his  82nd year.  Predeceased by his parents Roswell and Laura Henzy. Beloved husband of the late Yvonne Bernice (Moore) Henzy.  Loving father to Alan (Kim) Henzy and Daniel “Dan” Henzy. Cherished grandpa to Dakota and Alyssa. He will be missed by his sisters Helen Giddy and Annamae (John) Kuieper. Also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law  Richard (Donna) Moore, Darlene Asseltine, Joan (Rick) Martin, Ronald (Christine) Moore, David (Joan) Moore, Beverly (Earl) Gardner, Kevin Moore as well as many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his sister-in-law Sharon Moore. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Jack Giddy, Jonathan Moore, Harold Asseltine and Mervin Pringle and sister-in-law Linda Pringle. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday July 4, 2024, at the Portal Village, in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband William. She will be sadly missed by her children Bob and Sheila; Karen and Bob Norton; John and Jackie; and Brian as well as grandchildren Tom, Andy; Scot and Jill Norton; Haley and †Dan Minor; and Travis and 4 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Isabella and  Angelica Norton and Jack Minor. Predeceased by her grandson Curtis. Special thanks to Dr.  Kouroukis at Juravinski Hospital, and to Portal Village for their excellent care.   The funeral service for Dorothy will be held at South Cayuga Community Church, 6182 Rainham Road, South Cayuga on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment of ashes to follow at South Cayuga (Trinity) Cemetery. Donations can be made in Dorothy’s memory to South Cayuga Community Church. July 11, 1960 – July 5, 2024 Peacefully at home with her family by her side Friday July 5, 2024 at the age of 63 years. Beloved wife of 47 years to George Randall. Loving mother of Katie (late Glen), Stacey (Blake), and the late Don and Daryl. Dear grandma of Anna, Jacob, Ava, Lexi, and Bentley. Daughter of the late Don and Lorna Willis. Sister of Janet (late Tom), Donna (deceased) (Jim). Special friend of Dave and Diane. Also will be remembered by several nieces and nephews. The family will honour her life with visitation at the Hyde + Mott Chapel, RHB Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd, 60 Main Street South Hagersville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm where funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2024 at 1pm. Peacefully at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville at the remarkable age of 106. She quietly left us. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Edward ‘Ted’ Montague (2013) and son Charles Montague (2020). Loving mother of Margaret (†Gerry), Jayne (Ron), Mary and Judy (Roger).  Proud grandmother of Tye, Andrea, Carley, Adele, Dylan and Kiersten.  Predceased by her siblings Joseph, Eddie (Madeline), Monica Montague (Leo), Jack (Marie) Paul (Germaine). Sister-in-law of the late Helen (Walt) McInally. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Frances graduated from the St. Joseph’s school of nursing in 1941, was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for 72 years and a volunteer at the Hagersville Hospital Axillary. The family wishes to thank Grandview Lodge, Hillview for the wonderful care mom received during her stay, the staff at Leisure Living where mom lived for 4.5 years and Dr. Mark Miller for his excellent care over the years. A CWL and parish prayer will be held at Cooper Funeral Home, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis, Ontario, on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Mass for Frances will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery. It is with heavy hearts that the family of ‘Trudy’ Gertrude Elsie Williamson (nee Nixon) announces her passing on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Hamilton General Hospital in her 65th year. Left to mourn the loss of Trudy is her husband and best friend Ronald Williamson, children Lacie (Richard Bigelow), Haley (Michael Nemcko) and her grandchildren Mikayla, Aiden, Abby and Sophie.  Trudy will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Butch and Judy Nixon, Chris and Wendy Nixon, Melanie Stirtzinger, Glen and Paula Nixon and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.  Trudy is predeceased by her parents Alton and Ethel Nixon (nee Young), and siblings Carol Vine, Lynn Young and David Nixon.  Trudy loved her family; watching them thrive like the flowers in her garden was truly her life’s accomplishment. A special thank you to the staff at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital for the care and compassion Trudy received during her illness. Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville in his 85th year.  Beloved and cherished husband of Heather. Loving father of John (Lorrie), Ken (Kathy) and Eddie (Jeff). Cherished grandfather of Kenny and Kaitlyn. Survived by his sister Valma and brother Bill. Predeceased by his brother Brad. Ed worked at National Steel Car starting as a Millwright and retired as a Maintenance Director.  Ed was very active. He enjoyed building things and doing home renovations. He was an outdoorsman who loved horses, the rodeo and old cars. Cremation has taken place. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Loraine ‘Lori’ Beatrice Lymburner announces her sudden and unexpected passing at home on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 72 years of age. Lori leaves behind her loving son Jayson Lymburner and grandson Hudson Lymburner. She was the beloved sister of Rodney (Marcella) Port Colborne and aunt of Renee (Steve Dayboll). Lori will be fondly remembered by her friends at DOTS and the Lowbanks Community Centre. A special thank you to the Lowbanks Fire Fighters, O.P.P. Officers and E.M.S. for the services they provided on that emotional night; we were grateful for your support. In keeping with Lori’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, The Lord called home, His son Bryan Harold Melick, from Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, on Sunday June 16, 2024 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Joan Melick (Bell). Loving father of Julia Simmons, Tara Houser (Michael Lerner) and Brett Melick. Cherished grandfather of Sadie Pew, Ashton Simmons, Madeline Houser, Hayley Simmons and Gretel Houser. Bryan will be fondly remembered by his siblings Robert (Val) Melick, Jan (Mel) Lovering and Elaine Battle and his mother-in-law Jean Bell. Bryan is predeceased by his parents Birdsall and Joyce Melick (Walker), father-in-law Ken Bell and brother-in-law Bill Battle. A special thank you to the staff at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion Bryan received in his final days.
