August 23, 1950 – May 23, 2023 Passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 54 years to Ron Gordon. Loving mother of Ron Jr. (Gloria), George (Sharlene), and the late Robert. Dear grandma to Wyatt, Luke, and Alison. Daughter of the late Bob & Valley Sloat. Sister of Ileen (Berend DeVries), Darlene (Don Lancaster), David (Anita), and Bruce (Lisa). Sister-in-law of Dave (Pam), Bruce (Dorothy), Ken (Linda), Paul (deceased) (Gloria). Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral Service will be held at the Townsend Community Church, 85 Nanticoke Creek Pkwy., Townsend, ON on Saturday May 27, 2023 at 11 am. July 10, 1934- May 23, 2023 Called home into the Arms of Jesus. Evelyn passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville on Tuesday, May 23rd in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Bart Kramer for 66 years. Cherished mother of Debbie MacDonald (and Randy LeBlanc), Bert(and Margaret) Brenda (and Craig) Anderson, Sharon (and Luc) Vandeven, Judy (and John) Johnson, David (and Darlene). Loving and devoted grandmother and great grandmother to Justin(and Adriana), Michael (and Carrie), Joe (and Erika), Jeremy (and Stephanie), Bert, Doug (and Natashia), Shaun (and Angela), Mary (and Phil), Sarah (and Dallas), Amanda (and Sean), Trevor (and Brittany), Angela (and Mike), Erika, and 30 great grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law to Rennie-Lou McIntyre (and Jim), Lola (and Bob) Stremler, Evelyn will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Donald Teal (late Shirley) and Norman Teal (late Birdie) and by her son-in-law Dennis Goodburn. Evelyn was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She loved her Lord and her church. She was a woman of great faith and integrity. She enjoyed life and everything it had to offer. Her eyes always lit up when her grandchildren and great grandchildren would come for a visit. She enjoyed Tea parties with her children and morning coffee with her son-in-law Luc. She will be missed by her dog Cuddles. A visitation was held at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Friday, May 26th, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service was celebrated at the Highway Pentecostal Church, 4501 Highway 6, Hagersville on Saturday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rob Sharpe officiated.
